LTE Front Office RAN Engineer

Work Experience: At least 5 years’ experience with minimum 3 years on 3G Ericsson Optimization Experience .
Job Description:
• Monitoring 3G KPIs of Assigned RNCs and recommend parametric/redesign changes for improvement.
• Optimize multi-carrier (3G), multi-technology (2G-3G) HO based trigger parameters and database.
• Identify cause of Dropped Calls, Access Failure and Low Throughput and other major KPI issues.
• Pilot Pollution and Interference and Provide recommendations based from failure analysis.
• Recommend actions for congested cells having Power congestion, Code Congestion CE & Iub congestion and suggest best action after complete analysis and resource availability
• Worst cell analysis for each KPI and suggest actions for improvements
• Perform RF Tuning through statistics, Missing Neighbors, interferers, RSCP/EcIo -distribution for each worst performing cell.
• IRAT Optimization and optimize the 3G-2G , 3G-LTE interworking strategy.
• Reviewing new features recommended settings, monitoring implementation and optimizing the feature parameters.
• Figure out hardware problems causing KPIs degradations in network by analyzing cell level statistics and alarms information.
• Regular parameter audits of nodes assigned to remove inconsistencies.
• Recommend suitable parameter changes, neighbor’s settings and hardware changes to achieve KPI target.

Skills required:
5 years or more with 3 years on 3G Ericsson equipment.
Good knowledge and experience with 3G Ericsson latest features and recommended parameter settings of W11.
Good knowledge of system topology and air interface parameters for 2G/3G networks.
Familiarity with LTE Network architecture and interworking of 3G/LTE.
Radio Network Optimization including RAN parameters & Probe-Trace Logs Analysis.
Experience in drive test log collection, analysis and reporting (Tems Investigation)
Expert level in operating RF tools and related solutions like Tems,mapinfo,actix .
