Job Description- 2G Drive Test Engineer-
* Audit the sites with drive test tool TEMS INVESTIGATION
* Drive Test and Analysis - Neighbor list analysis, interference & coverage analysis and to suggest for changes to be made in networks to optimize the given area.
* Optimizing RF Related Parameters such as BCCH, BSIC and frequency retuning by analyzing drive logs
* Planning of New Sites: Proposing new sit after analysis of coverage issue.
* Do the BSC Drive Test using TEMS investigation 8.0.3, analyze BSC drive test log files Identifying poor coverage and quality patches through drive test and making action plan to resolve the same.
* Coverage by skewing sectors, down tilt/Up tilt, power increase/decrease, by using better gain antenna
* Site Auditing and Verifying Hardware, Tilt, Antenna height and Orientation, according to the Planning Database.
* Analyzed the Drive test log files using TEMS Investigation. The activities included foot printing of all the sites in order to control the site overshoot, cell dragging, interference elimination, monitoring of RX Quality, two way neighbor relations, locating handover failures, call drops, call blocks, coverage holes.
