- Job description
Monitoring the network performance & improving KPIs like TCH drop , TCH congestion, SD drop, SD congestion, HO failure etc.
RF Parameter configuration check and fine tuning.
Dropped call analysis, Handover success analysis, Drive test log analysis, Interference analysis.
Optimization of Antenna height, orientations & tilt on the basis of various network data reports.
Daily network health monitoring and accordingly taking action to meet desired KPIs.
Locating coverage holes and improving coverage area along with expanding coverage areas.
Planning of LAC & BSC Boundary based on Signaling Load & Geographic area.
Planning of Abis Interface capacity for Data (EDGE).
(B) Job description of RF professional (3G) .
To support all design and planning activities for 3G roll out in circle.
To coordinate with vendors for design, site selection, optimization and acceptance of network.
The candidate should have sound technology understanding of GSM, WCDMA & work experience of at least one technology domain.
Dimensioning the RAN network (number of channel elements, Node-Bs, RNCs) according to the coverage, capacity and quality.
Planning the Node-Bs in a WCDMA RF planning tool (like NetAct Planner/ asset) defining their related parameters: site coordinates, antenna type, antenna height, antenna tilt, antenna azimuth, CPICH power, cable loss, propagation model parameters.
Validating the site configuration in the field during the technical site survey visit and preparing the Technical Site Survey report
