Job Description FLM Engineer 

1 General Purpose member of BSS operations team to handle the           OAM tasks of Customer network operations   

2 Main Responsibility Area Support OAM tasks for NSN BTS,               Node  B, BSC & Transmission equipment. 

3 Support OAM tasks for ECI / ALU / NEC Microwave equipment &       transport nodes Interact with GNSC & other support functions      towards outage resolutions 

4 Interact with Infra support partners to rectify & improve infra     availability at CSP sites 

5 Interact with 3PP bandwidth providers to rectify & improve     bandwidth availability at CSP sites 

6 Interact with TSG functions for customer compliant resolution 

7 Maintain the agreed KPI / SLA for a given CSP at a defined area     of operations 

Key Responsibilities 

1 Responsible for corrective maintenance & preventive activities at     CSP sites 

2 Responsible for alarm clearances on service affecting & non-    service categories at CSP sites 

3 Responsible for spares management in the defined area of     operations 

4 Conduct Acceptance Test for new sites before the same goes     "commercially operational" 

5 Support site augmentation activities as in, Card / TRX addition,     Microwave upgradation, etc. 

6 Support site optimization activities as in, Site reparenting @ BTS     / BSC, Traffic migration, Site dismantling, Cabinet expansion,       etc. 

7 Perform Microwave Antenna alignment tasks independently at     RTT / Pole towers of Antenna diameters 1.2 Mtrs 

8 Perform Microwave Antenna alignment tasks with the assistance     of riggers at RTT towers of Antenna diameters 1.2 Mtrs 

9 Perform Microwave Antenna alignment tasks with the assistance     of riggers at GBT towers 

10 Perform PM activities independently at RTT / Pole towers 

11 Perform PM activities with the assistance of riggers at GBT       towers Additional Requirements * Strong team player with good communication skills & ability to     listen & learn * Flexible to work during odd hours and travel at short notice * Ability to work during extreme conditions at CSP site * Flexible to be relocated as per the management requirement at     any place in the country * Good technical understanding on GSM n/w topology & protocols * Good technical understanding on IP topology & protocols. * Working knowledge of Ericsson, Huawei, ALU
