Urgent requirement for Engineer / Senior Engineer – Transmission (2nd Level Assurance)
Experience
Minimum 2 to 7 years of relevant experience of which at least 2 year must have been spent working on Ericsson/Huawei or Supported Vendor’s Transmission Equipment’s mainly on products as mentioned.
Candidate should be willing to work in shift based 24*7 environment

Specifications:
Good knowledge & skills on Operation and maintenance / Integration / support of Microwave and Optical nodes in both EMS/NMS.

Working experience on minimum one of the following product portfolio.
· Ericsson Marconi TXN Products MLTN/MLHC/MLE/AXX/DXX/ SDH Mux (OMS) family
· Service On Microwave/Service On Optical/Service On Manager/Service On Element Manager, IPT NMS
· Tellabs 86XX Series with INM 8000 NMS
· Symmetricom SSU 2000, TS 3600, TP 5000
· Alcatel SDH & DWDM with NM/RM knowledge
Responsibilities
The primary purpose is to be able to provide technical support for operations and system fault restoration. Fault remedy requiring on site presence is dispatched to the field operation organization.
· 2nd Level service problem restoration of Txn network faults; prioritize faults and meet WLAs/SLAs, Handling Trouble Tickets.
· 2nd Level resource configurations & changes into Txn network within the scope of work, Handling CRs.
· To Handle Emergency situations in Txn Network.
· To keep the SDH/PDH NEs Hardware and Software Configurations Updated
· To perform Acceptance Testing of the new Network Element in Txn network.
· To be able to efficiently use EMS and NMS.
· To participate in internal technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make recommendations wherever possible.
· To contribute in the creation and improvements to procedures and routines within the department / group.
· To ensure correct working methodology.
· Adherence to customer agreed KPIs.
· Perform under time constrain depending upon the business requirements.
· Finding root cause analysis of potential and traffic outage related problems.
· Rerouting the traffic during outage time (Traffic transmission).
· Managing to keep low MTTR.
· Managing to keep track of hardware’s & software’s related changes in the network.
