The Global LTE Solutions engineering team serves Governments, Public Safety first responders, Commercial and Industrial enterprises. Motorola Solutions designs, manufactures, installs and services analog and digital two-way radios, voice and data communication products and systems for private networks, smart public safety solutions, wireless broadband systems and broadband collaboration applications to a wide range of enterprise markets, including government and public safety agencies, as well as energy, utilities, transportation, manufacturing and other commercial customers.

The Global LTE Solutions Engineering Department provides pre-sale and post-sale engineering support for Mission Critical Communications Systems & Software projects. 

1. The System Engineer will provide expertise to design and implement complete network solutions. 
2. The role will be to design, plan, deploy, optimize, and support effective solutions for complex public safety systems. 
3. The candidate for this position will take a leadership role on projects with respect to the design and implementation of the system. 
4. A major focus will be on formulating System/Network architectures, requirements gathering, system capacity, network dimensioning, network design, IP plan design, and application deployment and integration.
5. The candidate will work closely with customers, Product Management, Product development engineers and Motorola’s various regional deployment teams to develop representative use cases, system architectures and network designs. 
6. Designs will include both Motorola and third party products. 
7. The candidate for this role should be able to demonstrate an excellent ability to ascertain requirements, craft a solution, and communicate the solution to the project team and customer. 
8. The candidate will be required to interface with Customer Representatives, Project Managers, Sales Executives, Engineering Managers, finance, and Motorola product teams to effectively complete design and deployment activities.
