Job Title: RF LTE Expert
As part of our development, we are currently looking for a LTE Optimization Engineer for a project based in Saudi Arabia.
Primary Responsibilities
The LTE Optimization Engineer is responsible for planning and optimization of data & Voice ( VoLTE) services (LTE).
- Perform Network Planning,
- Perform Initial Tuning,
- Perform Network and/or Node Reviews/Audits,
- Analyze performance of networks elements
- Implement recommendations for network optimization improvement,
- Undertake networks performance improvement (KPIs) and optimization tasks
Job Qualification/ Experience - 5 years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry,
- 2 years of experience in 2G/3G/HS network tuning,
- At least 3 years in LTE optimization,
- Experience on Nokia products will be preferred.
- Specific Competencies
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English (written and oral),
- Good synthesize and communication skills to extract the right information to communicate,
- Planning and Organizing skills,
- Knowledge of business plans, customer requirements, and market.
Technical skills - Good expertise in Radio Network Design & Tuning Tools,
- Good knowledge of Radio Network Dimensioning/Coverage Design,
- Radio Functionality and cell parameters,
- LTE architecture
- LTE Features to enhance network performance
- Layering Strategy
- Interworking
- VoLTE and SRVCC
- Carrier Aggregation
- Capacity optimization
- Network Traffic Modeling,
- Complete knowledge of RAN architecture
- In depth knowledge of LTE TDD & FDD technology
- Excellent understanding of Basics of2G, 3G & 4G Cellular Telecom
- Knowledge of LTE call flows, LTE signaling and protocols.
- Working experience on planning, processing and optimization tools
- Good analytical skills for troubleshooting of issues observed during drive test/ walk test
- Implementation of new features in LTE RAN Network.
- Multi-vendor knowledge of LTE RAN network will be advantage.
- Should possess strong execution & problem solving skills, documentation skills.
- Should have strong presentation skill to present RF related profile
