- No of Internet devices in 1984 is 1000, and in 1992 it reached to 1 Million.
- In 2008 no of Internet devices increased to 1 Billion. By 2012 it reached to 17 billion.
- NTT Japan has successfully tested a fiber optic cable. That pushes 14 billion bites per second down a single strand of fiber. That is 2600 cds or 210 million phone calls every second, it is currently tripling every 6 months and is expected to do so for the next 20 years.
- Knowledge is growing so fast that 90% of what we will know in 50 years time..
- The Amount of new Technical information doubles every 2years. The student starting a 4 years technical degree, this means that half of what they learn in their first year study will be outdated by their third year of study.
- Among College students 99.7% have a mobile phone, most prefer texting to calls or emails. Of those college students 59% text messages to keep in touch. 17% fashioned in old way that is calling to keep in touch. 9% Instant messages and 7% email.
- Today, the average 21 years old has spent 5,000 hours playing video games. Spent 10,000 hours on a cell phone, 250,000 hours electronic messages.
